In your initial assessment, you can expect:
- A detailed conversation about your symptoms, history and goals
- A physical assessment based on your presentation
- Clear explanation of what may be contributing to your issue
- A treatment direction that makes sense for your body
- Guidance around next steps
- Referral to the most appropriate RX Physiotherapy team member for ongoing care if required
- A plan that may include physiotherapy, strength work, education, recovery strategies or further referral where needed
You should leave your initial assessment with a clearer understanding of what is happening, what needs to change, and what the next step looks like.
